Sorry, yes there was an update of sorts.
I got an email from the seller and he said he wasn't sure what I was talking about. When I pointed it out to him, he said there was an issue with reducing prices on vcoins that he tried to discount a bunch of coins and somehow that one got discounted even though it was only supposed to be discounted to the $19. When I showed him that it was purchased for $12 but still listed for $19 he said that it had already been sold and then took it off vcoins. That was the end. Not really informative...
Honestly, I don't know. The one thing I do know though, is that I will no longer be dealing with that seller. The whole thing left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
    Hopefully others have better results.

Agreed, doesn't sound good! Good decision!

It's like "coin opportunities" - I have missed on "opportunities" with deep regret, momentarily, until I remember that another will come along soon. Likewise, another great dealer/seller will show up. You just have to recognize it when it presents itself!;)

I'm still pretty new in the ancients game so when I see something I like, I feel like it has to be now or never. I have slowly started to realize that most of the time, that isn't the case..

Now or never coins do come up when you specialize in something long enough that you can tell when something is likely to be in that category. That may be why I have two of several coins that first struck me as a now or never item. Rather than admitting that I was wrong the first time, I buy the second. In most cases I am happy with that decision. Never can be a very long time unless, of course, you find out someone found a bag of the things and there is another in the same dealer's next sale.

Hobbies are for fun. There are too many good, honest, careful and professional coin sellers to buy from the bad taste crowd. In 2020, I bought a coin from a dealer which I new was not one I wanted to patronize but I wanted the coin 'that' day and not 'some' day. Today, I regret that decision and the coin leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I hope you will do better than I.
