I dont know if its just because I dont collect these and never notice, but I dont see much about Kushan Empire coins, had this one for a lil while,thought I'd share. not the best specimen:goofer:

my best guess is "India, KUSHAN: Kanishka I AE tetradrachm"

 

It is quite a good example considering some of the ones I have seen on ebay going for quite a bit more, nice pick up :hail:

I had forgoten to give it a soak after I got, so I did that last night and brushed it a little, the image looks better but it looks like it was previously over soaked by the seller or something. i'll post another pic when i can.

 

i think the rev is MIOPO (Mithra) or Mao looking through vcoins
