That design might look good in gold...but I think the mint is making enough bullion type coins these days.

I seriously doubt it would look as good as the picture. Remember the westward journey nickel sets the mint issued back in '04 and '05? They included a silver plated peace medal. I felt it looked rather cheap. Wished they would have just left it bronze.

 

yes both of those will happen the mint will use that gimmick sooner or later
