Here is a pic of a bill I am thinking about buying. What does everyone think about it? It looks to be in fairly good condition to me. I don't see any folds, but it looks like there is some discoloring. Any guesses on what it might grade? What would be a fair price to offer for this?

the pics dont show enough to tell anything about the note. The book says $150 in VF. the grade of the note is tough to guess with the images provided.

I have requested pics without the flash. Would this provide better pics?

scans at around 300 dpi would be best.. but pics without the flash and in good lighting might be better yes.

the issue i am having is the way the lines on the note look... the look 'broken. It could be because of the angle, the flash ect.. it could be a number of things... but its also what i have seen on counterfeit notes. well, some of the bad ones anyhoot. im not sayign it IS a fake.. but without clear images.. i wouldnt bite on it.

From what I can see....the upper left corner (face of the note) is stained with some sort of substance, perhaps coffee, soda or tea?
The upper margin appears to have 2 breaks in the paper with lots of circulated wear on the note. There are folds, corner folds, rounded and bent corners and the works.....
While it is an attractive * and from good district with a low printing, I would search for other exapmles that may be around. That is just me though.

If you were considering buying this note, I would offer $85-$100

Again this is just my opinion....

    Good luck

i agree with RickieB on the grade. The price is not bad either.

I was looking at these on eBay last week (don't have a solid green star yet). From what I saw, 1934 $20's were going for $35-60 in average circulated condition.
