1833 Capped Bust HALF DIME is this a die break?

    Is this a die break or a scratch on this coin. The mark runs from the "L" to the edge of the coin.

    Can someone please advise!
    Also - does that increase or decrease the value IF IT IS a die break?

    Picture isn't good enough to tell. Is it raised or is it incuse? If it's raised it's probably a die crack.

    It is a scratch, not a result of a break in the die. However, it looks like a beauty. Nice and crusty!
