:thumb: WOW real nice coin. How much did that put you back?? Are the pics yours?? That is a great addition to anyone's collection
That is a nice coin Silvereagle. I have never seen a 1/2 Dukat. One half the weight of a Goldgulden of the times. Kuenker always has very nice coins. I drove up to Osnabrueck for the auction 2 weeks ago because i wanted to inspect and bid on in person on some lots that interested me. The dumb thing is i got caught up in a traffic jam, and arrived too late - "my" lots had already sold.
I'm jealous .... I would love to attend an auction in Europe and particliarly meet some of the people I have become "email pals" with at Kuenker over the past years ... like Alexandra One day I plan to do so !!!
its nice :thumb: i would never want to attend a coin show in europe unless i was living there. too much to do and i if i threw coins and stamps in the mix it will take me months to get out of there
I sincerely hope you are able to do so. The people at Kuenker are very nice, (like Alexandra Elflein), and very customer-oriented. It is not always that way with all major auction houses in Germany. They called me at home once to allow me to participate via phone in the auction, even though i was only bidding on moderately priced lots. I though that was very forthcoming. Eduard
