I ordered this coin on a total impulse. I just received it in the mail today, and being the first (supposedly) ancient coin in my collection I have no idea to tell if it is authentic. To me it looks far to shiny to be over 2200 years old. I'm not so concerned about the value, I would just like to know that I actually own such on interesting piece of ancient Greek history. But I would like to know a value to see if I got ripped off or not. Please, can anyone give me any information and the value of this coin and tell from the photos how authentic it is? I also linked a .zip files which contains very hi-res photos of the coin if that would help.

I wouldnt worry about how shiny it is. I cant say wheater or not its authentic, its hard for me to tell. If you can get better/larger pics, along with pics of the edge (didnt check the zip file sorry) and weight and size I'm sure someone can be of better help, also the www.forumancientcoins.com/ discussion board is a good place to ask.
