Recently got this new 1921 Morgan Dollar. I know it is a common date and it's nicked up a little, but I am working on a high grade 20th century set and I think this piece fits that. Let me know what you guys think. Cheers!
Very nice ! :thumb: Common date ? Sure, but like you say - it's a great match for a type set. Does it have cartwheel luster ? Hard to tell from the scanned image. Enjoy, Dima ! ps Are you Russian, perchance ?
Nothing wrong with a common date, especially for a type set. It's hard to get a good look at it with the pics but it looks like a nice coin.
Yeah - the scan didn't turn out as well as I wanted, but it took me three scanners to get an image this good (the zoom is pretty good). But to answer you question - yes, it does have cartwheel luster. I was born in Ukraine. My first language was Russian so if anybody needs Russian coins translated, I can try.
Well looks good from here also despite the scans stealing the luster. I like picking up 21's cause they seem to have more die cracks than most. Nice Morgan from what I can see.
Tough to tell condition from the distance of the pictures but looks to be a nice example for your collection congrats
