1903 half centavo Pilipino coin under U.S. sovereignty

    I found on wikianswers that it ranges from $1 to $20. Given the condition of the one in this pic, what might it be worth? Thanks

    considering the picture, I'd say, completed cleaned away.

    or, cleaned to the point of vanishing.

    So you're saying that this coin was cleaned and now has pretty much no monetary value?

    Oh no!

    I didn't realize until after I scanned it that the edges have a lot darker tone to them than the center of the coin and was wondering if that meant it was cleaned or if the edges were just handled more.

    Kinda hard to grade when ya take those clear pics!!:confused:

    The 1903 1/2 centavo of the Philippines had a mintage of 12,084,000.
    It lists (in the Red Book) for $1.59 in EF.

    Not a lot of money but an interesting history.
