Hi; I'm new to the forum, and it looks like a lot of people here really know their stuff. I put together a small collection when I was younger, and am now just starting to get back into coin collecting.

I bought this cent at a flea market about 10 years ago. I'm not interested in selling it, but I'd be very interested in grade estimates. Im fairly certain it's uncirculated, but I don't really trust myself to be able to make a definitive grade, and I'd appreciate opinions.

Most of the coin is very clean in appearance (no bag marks, no discolorations), except for one small defect near the bottom of the right wheat stalk. It looks like a small lamination flaw.

Howdy Davada - Welcome to the Forum !!

Hard to say for sure because the pics are a little small. BUt if all of the lines at the tips of the wheat stalks are crisp and distinct - then yes I would say it is Unc.

Hi Davada - Welcome to the Forum.!

I clicked on the pictures and looked at the enlargements. That's got to be one of the nicest '43 cents I've ever seen, especially Abe's hair. :)

Hi Davada, Welcome to the Forum,
That is a beautiful cent you have there. It would hold it's own in any collection. I too would guess from the pic's that it is a MS coin at least a 64.
    Thanks for sharing.

In grades of MS63/64 - that's about it. In higher grades of MS66/67 the value of course goes up.
