I was at the bank today getting some money to buy some fifty cent rolls when I noticed one of the hundred dollar bills had a star behind the serial number. The series is 1996 and the serial number is AF01195690*. The note has been circulated a bit. It has a fold in the middle and is a little worn. Not AU. Is this note worth any more than $100? I'll try to post a pic later tonight if that helps.

$100 has a high value to begin with. Others have said not worth it, but I am keeping a few to the side. If alot of peeps think like this, I'm speculating my grandkids (when/if I even have kids) will have something worth something. They will be the 1st to go if I need $$ though.

if you got the extra $100, then grab it... but its really too new, and in rough shape to garner any value above face. $100's are tough to sell unless in tip top shape, or really scarce. Liek noost said, its always worth $100, so if you can spare the money now, and need it later.. there it is.
