The question to the jury: Would you crack this one out and return it to original packaging? I’d welcome your thoughts!

Whatever your final decision is, that's up to you. However, if it were me, I wouldn't do it in light of how tricky it can be to remove a coin from a slab.

Is your entire collection raw in packaging and you want uniformity? If so, then go ahead and crack. If you don't need uniformity, then just leave it in the slab. It won't change the value much if it is OGP or in a 69 holder.

I think cracking could be risky on a coin that is so delicate and welcoming to damage. I like how it's preserved in the slab, but I also like the idea of returning it to its packaging. I personally think I would leave it, but ultimately it's up to you and if you think the reward of having it back in its original packaging warrants the risk of cracking it.

Leave it in. If you want an unslabbed version, buy another in OGP!

I'd think you'd want to keep that delicate girl in her tomb to preserve her. They're good enough for the Pharaohs, after all...

Thank you all for the feedback! I’m just going to let well enough alone and let her be.

Good choice. I have some ASEs in original packaging and some in slabs and I prefer the slabs. They take up less space and make it easier to look at the coins OGP, especially the fancy sets, can end up being a lot of ballast with respect to one's collection.
