Finished my Ike set last year and had a ball doing it... And yer right Mr. B... It is outstandingly hard to find clean clad examples...

I purchased the entire Ike set (all 32 coins) in an oak presentation box for $191 last year on ebay. All of the coins are brilliant uncirculated or proof condition. It is a beautiful set! The guy who sold me the set sent along the price that he paid for the set in 2006, which was 399.95 plus shipping from the First Commemorative Mint. A few weeks ago, I saw the exact same set on HSN for $495 plus shipping. I think that I did pretty good on this one. I'm not always as lucky.

None of the coins are polished? Do you see hair lines? If not it was a good bye. A 72 Type II can go for that alone.

Thanks Brooklyn on the information on the three types of 1972P Ikes with the different types of reverse relief's. I'm not sure which one that I have in my set but it is probably a type 1.

I'm missing the 16D mercury too. It is a little pricy and I hate rough coins.
