We called the mint today when we discovered our order for 2009 lincoln cent rolls was CANCELED. The thing is we did not cancel it! When we called them they said there was a glitch in the system that auto canceled people orders!! Their words were "well over a hundred orders were affected". Be sure to check your orders and if it was one of the glitched orders call the US mint (1-800-USA-MINT) and they will fix the issue AND keep your spot on the list. (Meaning you will not be bumped back on the order)
This is what we saw on the mints website this morning when we went online to track our order: Track Order Order number: 31352*** Order Date: 03/13/2009 at 12:11 AM Order Status: Your order request has been cancelled. :computer: The customer service rep I spoke with said that they had a "major computer glitch" and that "they have been made aware of over a hundred orders so far had been cancelled by mistake." :bigeyes: She couldn't place another order since the roll sets are sold out, but she was forwarding it to a supervisor and she said the problem would be resolved and our order would be reinstated in the order that it was originally placed. If we hadn't checked this morning, we wouldn't have known about the problem. If you placed an order for these, I would log on to the mints website and make sure your order is okay.
Am I correct, the only way you can check your order status is by phone. I have logged on to my account and tried to do the online status/tracking thing but it does work. Talked to a mint representative yesterday and while she was nice , not sure she knew what I was talking about. She said about 90% of the people are having the same problem. Something about a glitch or grich

I just tried mine too, and it seems to be working okay. You have to log on, click on My Account, then My Order History, then you can see all of your orders and select the one you want to know about, and it should tell you the status. I wonder if they can tell how many times a person checks on their order, ha. They are doing a lot better, but I wish they were like any other successful business and ship orders out within a day or two. Oh well, we can dream can't we? I ordered my Lincoln rolls within the first few minutes, and now it says in process and the cancel boxes are gone. My Braille Dollar orders say B/O but will ship on 4/1/2009......APRIL FOOLS!

I just checked the status of my order and all seems to be okay. It says my order is in process with a product available date of 04-03-09. All my info seems to be there, so things look good.
my order doesn't appear in track order, and there's no place to type in the order number. It has disappeared. I'm on the phone (on hold 11 minutes so far.)
Aye Captain.....Did you try logging in, clicking on My Account, then selecting Order History, and click your order?
I check my and every thing looks OK. My order status is back ordered and will be shipped on 4/4/09. Maybe!
Well I have tried and mine just does not work. Think the woman at the mint must have met 10% of the people are having problems and everyone else the other 90% are OK. I must the the one of the glitches she was speaking of. I have been called a lot of things but to my knowledge, I have never been called a glitch. Not sure about that as I am kind of old and my memory is not what it use to be. Makes me kind of special I guess:smile. Next to the IRS, the mint folks are the last people I like to speak with if it can be helped. I find that I am a much better person if I can avoid direct contact with these people. The phone automated thing say I am in process so maybe they have not cancelled my order. Oh well life goes on
Yes, there seems to be no history of my order being placed, although I got an e-mail saying it will be shipped by 4-4. I have an order number, but no place to put it to track it. It has disappeared. UP[DATE- I spent 1/2 hour on hold Saturday and gave up, I will try to call again Monday
My order is still MIA, but a charge from the mint showed up in my bank account today. I am guessing my order still exists out there somewhere, it is just not available in order history.
