    i got some coins that were graded by NTC, they look ok but i was wondering are they a good grading outfit or not.

    I am not sure just what your definition of "good" is. They are independent unlike SGS, NNC, etc. However, they do not generally grade to the standards NGC or PCGS do. I own several of them. Most are over graded, but a couple could actually be accurate. However, I figure I "got what I paid for" to got a great bargain for at least nearly every one of them.

    I snet in some stuff when NTC first started, they were very accurately graded, but,

    Who knows.

    i got a few from a old man who is retired and selling his coins for money. i was just wondering if i should buy some more of them.

    My experience with NTC was BAD. I bought a Morgan (forget what year) it had been cleaned, and had slight wear, NTC gave it a MS62. I stay far away from them, and their nasty green holders. :D

    If he is selling them for the NTC graded price, then you best not. Here is where you absolutely buy the coin and not the slab.
