I'am really upset about the small wooden box that my Double Eagle came in I think it should be bigger. What do you think?

Is this a joke? The box is huge for a half ounce sized coin.
The coin could stand to be a little bigger though.
It's about the size of a quarter.

I agree. It should be heavier, too. It weighs only 3 pounds which is less than 50 times the weight of the coin.

how about a giant 5 oz coin instead only a real collector would be able to buy that. not many would be willing to sell their house to buy the coin. it will weed the pretenders out :D

If they made it any bigger you could use it as a coffin.......:hail:

    Too big IMO.

I think it would be great to get enough to clink together.

Just a dream, will have to get some Krugerands or Maples to do that I guess.

The box doesn't fit in any of my coin collection boxes.

american buffalo proof boxes were the best so far. follow by another buffalo uncirculated boxes. the 8-8-08 box look great too. but those empty boxes sell at e-bay are expensive.

NICE box. I like it - well made and certainly a valuable addition to the coin itself.
