I have recently started to place my collection of USA presidential campaign tokens/medals on ebay. I am not a collector but inherited them, I have researched most but this one i can't seem to find anywhere.
It is 30mm diameter bronze colour obverse is a left facing bust of rutherford b. hayes. inscription circling coin reads "RUTHERFORD B. HAYES FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES" and inset to the left of his bust reads "CENTENNIAL 1876" and inset to the right of his bust reads "AMERICA"
Reverse is a right facing bust of Wheeler. Inscription circling coin reads "WM.A.WHEELER FOR VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES" and inset to left reads "CENTENNIAL 1876" and inset to the right reads "AMERICA"

Can anyone help me and give me an idea of the value of this coin?

I can't help you with a value, but it is id RBH 1876-1 in my 1959 edition of A Century of Campaign Buttons 1789-1889" by J. Doyle DeWitt. These tokens came in both reeded and plain edge styles. Metals used were silver, copper, brass, and white metal. Diameter is listed as 31mm. Some of the brass pieces were gilded, copper ones silvered, and white metal ones nickel plated.

The reverse was originally struck as WM. H. WHEELER. The dies were cut by George H. Lovett of New York.
