Well first let me say thank you for the input you all had. :thumb:

While I streched myself a little here, I decided on 2 notes..yep, thats right, 2!

I suppose you can say my budget for notes just got eaten alive...LOL :eating:

I will be watching from the sidelines for a little while until I get these paid for.

But at the same time I have realized 2 additional notes to the collection...1 Large Size and 1 Small Size!!

Here are the $2 Hancock FR#243 and the $1000 New York Note both in PMG 64 with the Hancock being a PPQ Note!

Now, I will sit back and watch as your collections grow while I clear the tab for these guy's!

    Good luck on your hunt's...mine is over for a while...LOL :D :high5:

    Regards,

    RickieB

    Kinda scary RickieB.

I didn't reply to your original thread but I was leaning toward the "Tombstone".

    Go figure.

I'm feeling kinda bad for the tombstone note...why didn't you just buy all 3!

Anyway, very nice notes...I think the two together would double the value of my entire collection!

Great choice RickieB! I would've done the same in that situation if the funds permitted. I love the back on that $2, so many different patterns! Enjoy them!

Yes, stunning notes. The back of the $2 is fantastic, I wonder if the designer of that got a round of applause from his peers when he came up with it.

    SM...

I do hope that you and no one else for that fact think that I am trying to out do, out spend, or best/better anyone. This collection is for my young Son AJ. One day when I am not here to protect him, what I have done while I am here should make a difference for him.
What you are doing is admirable in it's own right and I commend you for your charity, kindness, and personal dedication to helping the youth and the young men and women of the future. I proudly give you the Marine Corps SALUTE!! I am also sincere when I call you friend.

For all of you out there who share this hobby with us and especially those of you on CT whom I have come to know through digital interaction, please see what I am doing and the reason behind it. I have never tried to better anyone (except when I competed in sports) as far as I can recall on this hobby.
I would like to put together the best that I can for the day that I can no longer watch over and protect my AJ is growing shorter as every day goes by.

My sincere blessing to all of you out there and it is pleasure knowing you all and what you would like to accomplish. God Bless you SM  for what you are doing and may the light shine brightly upon that pathway!

    Sincerely,

    Rick

Actually in that regard my collection has been very good to me, when I go over the value of it, and find little forgotten but very lucrative little treasures recently I appreciate it.

I started selling off some of the large denomination notes recently, sorry nothing from NY anymore.

Perhaps when I get back to your part of the world soon, we will have to all hook up there - I maybe coming there on business soon.
