I wasn't entirely sure where to post this, but here goes. I am planning a trip to Colorado this summer with the family. I have been trying to do some research but have had trouble finding specific information. I was hoping someone could help me find some places around the Boulder/Gilpin/Clearcreak county area to do a little panning or mineral/gem hunting. I have found some ghost town mapps and plan to bring my metal detector and see if I can find some places to hunt without getting arrested. Any help or advise would be great.
