That's only for the folks who got the UHR Spock....I just got the e-mail...gonna take the survey now. I'll let you know how it turns out. Here's a copy of the e-mail: Dear Valued United States Mint Customer, In order to receive direct and timely feedback from our customers regarding their experience when ordering the 2009 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle Gold Coin during first availability, I would greatly appreciate your response to a brief survey about the United States Mint's performance. Response to this survey is voluntary and all responses will be kept completely anonymous. According to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, no persons are required to respond to a collection of information unless it displays a valid OMB number. The valid OMB control number for this information collection is 1525-0012-0131. Please follow this link to take the survey: http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/USMSurveyLogon?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001). If clicking on the link does not work, please copy and paste this link into your web browser. You will need your customer number to enter the survey site once your browser takes you to it. This survey is very brief and should take only a few minutes to complete. I will personally read your response, as will our head of Sales & Marketing, and our Chief Information Officer. Thank you very much for your time in completing this survey for the United States Mint. The level of customer service we provide is very important to us --- we will use your response to improve! Sincerely, Andy Brunhart Deputy Director United States Mint
For the love o' mike I type in my order # and get the message that the survey is only for customers who ordered the UHR. I did order the UHR, I got an order #. What a load of bull. The mint wants feedback? I'll give 'em feedback, only I can't get into the survey.
Typical....host a survey and then don't let anyone take it. That way you can get the "stats" that you want..... To paraphrase Mark Twain, there are lies, then there are dirty lies, then there's statistics.
Well Garrett, I'll go in halves with you. We can split the cost of one of the coins and I'll let you have the box and I'll keep the coin. After all I'd hate for you to have to have a coin you don't like.
I had the same problem Ken. I was all set to unload and it wouldn't allow me to log on. I ordered the UHR 2hours into the first day and I still haven't received anything. The mint has debited my account twice only to return the money each time. I have the money saved up, but it is in another account. So each time they debit my account, I have to transfer the money over. Then when they cancel the debit, I have to transfer the money back over before my wife gets it. LOL!
Email that I sent to Andy Brunhart, Deputy Director of the US mint: Dear Mr. Brunhart, I received your invitation to participate in a survey for all those that purchased the UHR on January 22nd, but I am unable to access it. The site requires you to have a customer number and I do not know where I would find my number. The messages says that the customer number could be imported from the email/letter that I received, but all that I have been able to find is my order number. Unfortuantely, this number does not allow access into the survey. Could you please clarify how I may locate my customer number so that I may participate in your survey. I can also pass this information on to my friends who are experiencing the same issue as they are not able to access the survey as well. Thank you for your time and consideration into the matter. Sincerely, Joseph A. Ceravone
I called the Mint, waited on hold for twenty minutes and then got my customer number. My customer number is nowhere on the invoice or the website that I could find.
Harry, if I remember correctly, I believe the survey is only for those who ordered the UHR on jan 22nd. So the rest of you don't count!? LOL! :goofer::computer: Thanks Taurus for that info.
You just can't make this stuff up. People wouldn't believe it. Got the e-mail. Tried the order #. Nope. Should come here before I check my e-mail. More answers and less aggravation. If anyone has a clue let us mere mortal's know. I REALLY want to let them know how satisfied I am.
