Some foreign paper

    Two Russian or Soviet dont really know a thing about them. I would like to say that they were my grandfathers that he brought over with him when he immagrated, but I just dont know. Maybe someone here knows what they are. Thought I would share.

    very cool! its awsome to get treasures like that from a person who actually used them in day to day commerce... and that he saved them for some reason all those years.

    never let them go :)

    Well the top one is a 1 Shipov Rouble (Signed by him), State Treasury note but were also printed by the provisional goverment and the Soviet goverment at a later date, I dont know what the series numbers are for the different printings
    The 250 rubles is a Soviet goverment issue going by the serial number
    but I am sorry that I dont realy know a great deal about Russian banknotes
