So, I stashed my 1960's away until I thought I could figure out which one's were small dates. Am I correct that three of the below four are SD's?
Well now . . . that's nice to get confirmation that I know my way around 1960's cents. (Finally!) Thanks!
Try looking here; http://www.lincolncentresource.com/index.html They will cover most of your Lincoln questions.
Agreed, they all look like small dates. The easiest way to tell is the 6, there's a huge and obvious difference between the small and the large date.
How I've finally figured it out is this: draw a line straight down from the end of the top of the six. If it hits the far right of the circle part of the six, it's a LD. If it hits further in, it's a SD. And so I think of the above pix, the bottom right is a LD, and the other threes are SD's.
I have no idea which "above pix" you are referring to. If it is your original pic, all 4 are small dates. Here are some close ups of the small and large dates; http://www.lincolncentresource.com/smalldates/1960smalldate.html
Are you sure? (yes, the original pic) . . . the one in the lower right looks different to me -- both the '6', and also the '0' looks bigger than the other three
