Half dimes are not on the top of my wantlist, but I keep an eye out for good ones. Trying to put together an XF/AU set.
Very, very Nice. The early series, including bust coinage are very appealing. You have a good eye Kanga.
Don't know. When I first saw it I thought it looked better. But I'm not going to do anything about it. I've got one graded AU-58, but I like my new one better.
Actually it cost slightly less than greysheet Bid. I bid higher but it turned out that wasn't necessary. Most half dimes I run into that are XF or AU are toned toward the dark side. This one is almost white (lighter than my image). That "shadow" in front of Liberty's chin is actually from a die clash. The angle I used for my lighting doesn't show it as such.
