Gems from Circulation

    not exactly what I would call finding in circulation but still great coins

    Why do you say that? The Brinks boxes are just coins harvested from circulation and redistributed in rolls and boxes. No different from getting it back in change. Banks and business simply break these rolls open into their drawers.

    Yeah but you go through so many rolls at once :) It was more exciting when I thought you got them for change at the grocery store :)

    wow - a red 1961 in change is really impressive. Great stand BTW

    in fact, that coin is older than me and I'm completely Grey..

    I got a GEM 1963 "D" Lincoln and an off center Wyoming quarter that was off center recently... Also, I got a GEM 1976 "S" (yes "S") Roosevelt in change...

    Nice finds all! I have found a couple, but not many lately - and certainly not as nice as those posted.

    Thanks Ruben, Airtites website had them. As for the 61 I had to do a double take when I first saw it, couldn't believe it.

    I recieved this Nickel in change from a gas station, a few days ago. Would it be considered "Gem"?
