    HEY GUYS,

i recently found two strange possible errors in circulation

the first one was a roosevelt dime with an extra lump on the rim of the coin. what was surprising about it was that the extra lump was reeded, like the rest of the coin

the second one was a jeff. nickel with the words five cents on the back so thick that they look like two ABSOLUTELY HUGE lumps

i would REALLY appreciate your help.

The question mark in my post is itself an image. Step, by step, clicked on Reply and got the reply posting box. Then I clicked on the little yellow icon representing a picture (to the left of the one with a blue ball and two-link chain - the words "insert image" appear when you hover the mouse above it). I pasted the complete URL for the website where my image resides into the diaglog box that appeared, and clicked "OK". Done! [IMG]

Are you trying to post a picture that is on your own hard disk, instead of one residing on a website somewhere? If so, there is a different procedure, which I haven't used on this forum, so I'll let someone else explain it. [IMG]

You have to hit the Go Advanced button, then manage files, upload the photo from your computer and hit done. Make sure the photo size is correct, and the right kind of file. ie: jpg or gif

    chevy -

When you are making a post look just above the box you are typing your message into. See the little yellow square ? That's the image button. Click on it - this opens a dialogue box where you can enter the URL of a picture you have hosted on web site and paste the URL into that box. This puts your pic right into the post like this -

Now if you don't have a web site then you can do it another way. Below the box you are typing your message into - over on the left side you will see this -

    Options:

    Thread Subscription:

    Attach Files: Manage Attachments

Click on Manage Attachments. This opens another window which allows you to search your hard drive by clicking on Browse. Go look for the picture you want. When you find it click on - Add This File - then click on - Done.

Then your picture will show up like this -

    Sorry Chevy,

You are still missing. Once you get the first one it seems so easy. If you still have troubles, I will PM you my email address, and you can send it to me that way. Just make sure it is a jpeg

    Chevy,

I got your photo, but it comes across in an ART format. Maybe it is my system. So I forwarded it to Jody to see if he can work some magic on it. SORRY I couldn't help get it posted here. I did however get to look at the photo. Your Jefferson coin looks like damage. The photo was a bit small, so I won't say for certain. I will foward this photo to GDJMSP also to see if he can help. At some point, we will get this posted!

Well we are still trying. Don't give up hope yet. My email was having difficulties, so my emails to the other moderators kept getting sent back to me. We will get this up and running before too long.
