Ngc ms66 red 09d lincoln: Price $29.00 on line vendor. Ngc ms65 red 09d lincoln: Price $9.00 on line vendor. Yes plus shipping of $6.00. Ngc ms66 red shown in pics from on line vendor. Just a reflection of what’s out there. Other posts have spoke of outrages prices elsewhere. Is this a fair price?
now now CEO....remember this guy is a YN. Lets not be so harsh. This coin may end up being a modern rarity in 30 years. I heard somewhere that the mintage on the 2009's are going to be less than the 55 S wheat cent? Has anyone else heard the same thing?
From what I have seen, it is a good price - today. In a couple months or years, my guess is that is a high price. However, my crystal ball has been stimulated beyond opacity.
i don't really see this one being a key issue, not when you can buy two rolls from the mint for $9. Save your money.
I think the mintage figures on this coin are going to be surprisingly low, and therefore will demand a premium. Still, only worth face to me.
no way. I don't think so. Not even with the new minting designs and processes. I think Clad King said he had troubles finding any gems. The Mint sets are better. Ruben
If it will be scarce in those grades, perhaps the prices are fair. I think the image is okay and the reverse is a nice change.
there going to make a ton of them though and there will be a lot of gems eventually. I'm not excited by this coin in general. I wish they would just discontinue the cent. Ruben
Now, now here we go again with the distruction of our beloved, faithful, woderful, exciting, PENNY. And remember that in 1856 people probably stated on this very web site that the Flying Eagle Cent would never last and would never be worth anything. So my prediction is the new PENNY (CENT) will be worth several dollars in about 200 years.:hail: Plus or minus a few years.
E-bay has this coin listed for over $100, just think of the savings and smiles your grandchildren will have in 200 years from now. Do i here 3..
I think the prices are ok, factoring in the slabbing fee's. With all the people buying rolls from the mint you will see a lot of MS 65's and MS66's in the near future. Might be wise to hold off for a month or so.
