Irish Eire 1942-1962

    Well i have 5 irish eire the first coin:

    1, 1/2d (assuming half penny) With a pig and piglets on it. It says Leat on the bottom, 1942

    2, 1d (penny) With rooster and chicks on it. 1946, 1952

    1, Coroin leat, with a horse on it. on the the side with horse it says "2" raised to "5", "G" raised to "d" (25Gd) the 5 and d are small and to the top right like an exponent. 1962

    1, Half crown, front has a side view of a face and says
    "GEORGIV'S VI D:G BR:OMN:REX"

    I AM WONDERING IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ME SOME ESTIMATE IF THEY KNOW ANY VALUES FOR THESE OF I AM WELCOME TO ANY OFFERS ILL SHIP THEM TO THE USA.

    Sad to say in the UK they are worth very little but not sure how much more 'sought after' they are in the US. It will be interesting to see the replies. Best wishes, Mike.

    Actually, that's "2s6d", i.e. 2 shillings, 6 pence, colloquially "two and six".
