Finally had time to look at these Kennedy's a Little Closer. Strikethrough on the obverse, RPM and or DDR. Tamia load it looks like machine doubling but then there's certain areas that look a lot like doubled.
Sure , what the heck . Those marks are probably took a couple hits from another coin . Ooooooh . Not an error.
Im not sure what a boogie is however I've seen the same marks on other coins actually have another Kennedy dollar with the exact same indentations as well as state quarter with the exact same impressions and the edges aren't raised at all on either one
Stick another half dollar on it's edge where those dings are. 100% guarantee they are hits from the reeding of another coin.
@Way note how the flat areas that you think is doubling, takes away from the thickness of the devices (letters). That is MD. Doubled dies add to the thickness of devices not take away from them.
The obverse marks are hits from the reeding of other coins. You can see the displaced metal in your pics. Reverse looks like MD, but as @Rick Stachowski mentioned, check for an EXACT match on the Wexler's doubled die or the Coneca Varity vista sites (Rick has a lot of experience with identifying doubled dies)
those are great close up pictures. i got to go with the majority on this coin. keep going and good luck
Thanks for encouragement oh and $100 on Amizon for Digital Microscope with 7" monitor takes HD video too it was worth every pinney.
