Looks pretty nice to me.:smile What would you grade it. Also I'm not sure if it's FB. Picked it up as junk silver awhile back. The mintmark looks doubled as well. Any help appreciated.
I say no fb as well due to the center of the center band. Leadfoot, could you please circle where there is wear? I wouldn't be able to tell (AU/MS) with this one.
Third times the charm, NO to FBL, it appears the ding across bottom lines kill it as well the mushed area on the middle lines..
No FB that's easy , but AU or MS , looks like there might be some very minor wear over Libertys cheek , but without the coin in hand I'd say MS-63 , Can't make out the MM so I can't tell if it's doubled . Nice coin for junk silver . rzage
An older RPM book does list on RPM for the 1941-D Dime. The mark above the NE edge is where it is located. You dime appears to have something there in that area. I would need a closer image than I can see on your image. But there is a RPM in that area of your coin.
Not enough time right now, but the fields look to me to have wear that has impacted luster, and that means AU (to me and the TPGs at least).
AU 55 no full band, maybe dipped. The front hair, IMO has wear and the end of the stem of the olive branch on the reverse. Ruben
it's a worn die so the hair isn't crisp, but sadly, it looks to have been cleaned. i offer no grade on cleaned coins. it does appear to be a D over D - would need a better picture to be sure.
I know it looks that way in the picture, but it is not. There are very few mercs that don't have hairlines like that. In hand they are invisible.
If someone doesn't mind enlarging that picture, it would be very helpful. I can't make it any bigger on GIMP without it being too much memory to handle.
