    Is it an impaired proof? If so I'd grade it PF-60

    No grade . Xf details . .92 cleaned . Nicer reverse but Big ole Texas size scratches on Obverse son . :rolleyes:

    Not a proof it has a D MM and was struck at the Denver mint.
    Heavily polished. Not gradable.

    That’s the best possible answer. And yes, the surfaces are obviously cleaned or polished.

    If I see breast feathers on the Eagle, it's in pretty nice shape.

    Yes, I vote "cleaned" and the reverse shows signs of having been polished.

    I suspect the picture is not representative of what it looks like in hand. It's hard to say but it looks like mint set tarnish on it along with a scratch.

    I'd grade it AU-58 with a scratch.

    It could well be polished making it just junk.

    Would rather that they tell you that it's a unique quality Gem branch mint Proof so that you could embarrass yourself at the coin store? Sometimes the truth hurts.

    If it has not been polished, it's an AU-50 at best.
