Wait I have GIMP too and I can't figure out how to get it onto CoinTalk (or any website for that matter).
Well, I use ssh or just save it to the hard drive when I've sitting on my server. For cointalk there is also an attachment facility useing this icon on the top row above the message box, but you likely have to resize it Ruben
The half was a good deal but I'm sorry about that Merc. it looks as tho it has some serious problems.
Ooops, I might have replied to the wrong thread. There was a merc and half someone bouht at a show that pics were posted about and that's what I was replying to. If I've erred, my apologies.
The gimp creates files. Create them as jpg and then attach them to cointalk threads by using the http://www.cointalk.com/forum/images/editor/attach.gif paper clip icon on the top row of the message box. Look up on the top row. Use the advanced reply, not the quick reply. Ruben
I think you know how to do this because your photos are already attached to the thread. So I'm confused about what your confused about. The gimp isn't integrated into coin talk. You can't save from the gimp directly onto cointalk. That would be a security nightmare. (although it could be intregated as an on line tool. Google did that.) Ruben
You answered my question when you told me to save it as a jpg on GIMP. Thing is, I tried it out and when I try to upload it as an attachment, it is still an xcf file. :rolling:
The "S" mint mark on the OP's dime has a vertical orientation. On this example from Teletrade the orientation is radial. Are both correct?
