Clock built with coins

    [​IMG]Clock built with applied englis coins by the collage system on oil painting. This work I belive is unique in the world splendor and beauty The new way of creating art The colours blue, whit and red. Represent the english flag. In the frame done in solid mahogany wood were built-in dame english coins.
    Measures: 98X63 cm.

    Nice work! I really like the fact that you left the coins whole. I get cranky when someone chops up thousands of perfectly good coins to make "artwork."

    All the coins itself is art and history.
    Same keep them in boxes or in the banks. Other with coins drink beer.
    Sorry, I used the coins in my work with the aim of pointing out the fortune of yesterday Portuguese sailing. Reminding today, the commercial strength, the social and cultural value that Portuguese Navigational Epopee enable to the people of these our Universal World.

    Really great looking clock. I have seen so many variations of clocks in the last several years since that company called Klockit sells so many clock making items. Occationally they have contests for making clocks. You should contact them and send a photo of your clock to them. www.klockit.com
    Wonder how your clock would be with a musical movement from them.

    1/2 crown Regina + Elizabeth II

    Question. How are those coins connected to that clock?
    Glad you sent Klockit a photo of that clock. They may end up using in their catalog. If so you may win something for that invention of yours.

    The coins were glued over a background oil painting. And them covered with varnish. The clok is a small quartz machine and work with a battery of 1.5 v
