Looking at one of my nicer IHCs, an 07 very nice red I notice that the cheek has a silvery discoloration, I have seen that in different spots on other red or rb cents in areas not associated normally with wear points, like around the date or in the fields but this one is on the cheek, would that be an indication of a break in luster? there is no true sign of wear and the reverse is solid red all around.

Pictures would help. I have seen it also - even on some graded IHC's. Still pictures would help the experts.

Yea, ill see, but my cam never seems to pick up those tonal differences too well.

could just be a contact break mark, esp if it is at the high point of the cheek
