Welcome to the forum Newaz. The overall impression is that of an Indian Princely State coin, from sometime between the 14th and 19th Centuries. The irregular shape certainly indicates a hammered coin. Considering the condition and the indeterminate origin, it could be worth anywhere from a few cents to several dollars, but it's not likely to fund a child's education, or a parent's retirement. Now that I know the types of coins you have, I'm 98% certain that this one is a Princely State piece.
