I like the Littleton Albums but all things from Littleton are way overpriced. I use Brent Kreuger for all my supplies, but that's my preference. This is not a plug for this company, just my opinion.
I only "fill a row" when i can actually fill it... I/E I only put them in an album when i have a row finished, the slide only goes in once. the exception to the rule for me is my 5 sets of circulated jefferson nickels. I buy about $200 face of nickels every month and keep everything older than 1970... Its amazing to find a 1940's coin out of circulation I doubt the slides are leaving any marks of consequence. ...and Dansco has the best 20th century type set album...the 7070. IMO.
IMO, their prices on supplies are fine. They are around the same price range as IS, Dansco, and Whitman. I decided to go with Whitman, they are better, IMO. I checked littleton 20th century album...and...uh, stopped. How the hell did they forget to include the VDB? stainless
As an after thought... I am moving away from all the Cardboard albums slowly as I have seen problems in the older albums from the acid in the boards affecting the coins. Stainless-Hello. I have to disagree. In regards to pricing you are partially correct. MSRP keeps these products at about the same price but when hunting for better prices online and not ordering directly from Littleton I have gotten anywhere from 30% to 40% off of retail and the shipping rates tend to be better also. One of the great things about shopping online is being able to price compare. Everyone have a GREAT weekend!
