Is this worth more than face? Do you think it is fine condition?
Low serial number and old series. Made me pretty happy to find it even if its not worth much. Pretty cool me thinks. :smile

looks to be around fine... no tears, writing or other marks. lots of folds and wrinkles, rounded corners and some circulatioin soiling....

heck.. for a 1974 with 3 leading zeros... you done good :)

It does have a nominal value over face, more because of the three leading zeros in the serial number. Some of this older stuff is starting to come out of the woodwork again, the economy has people spending stuff they held for sentimental or other reasons.

i agree. Its too bad for those folks that the need to spend it outweighed the desitre to keep it. But for folks like me who live off circulation finds :) it can be a bonus.

It is understandable of someone to spend items such as this one. Especially when you have towns where the unemployment rate is 18% or higher. But it is a nice note. Great find.

Given the circulation of the note, it is hard to assign a value on it. It depends on the interest level of a particular collector at that moment, last year it might have gone for $15 or so, now, maybe $11 if you can find someone that likes it.
