Please have a look at the attached. An individual from another site I frequent made this wonderful piece.
I must say, I would love to have this hanging in my office.
There was talk in the forum of himself perhaps making these and selling them on ebay.
I admire the detailing, and the unique staining through out, and especially the HB on the middle pack inside the canoe. That HB is used alot during the grading process.
The actual coin there is only there to show scale.

I'd go insane making all those denticles!

The artist claims the actual coin has 188 denticles but he never counted what he has applied here.
Must be a mathematical nightmare trying to figure out what should the width of each denticle be, in order to adhere to the 188 requirement.
It took him 6o hours and alot of scroll saw work.
The background is made of 3/4" oak plywood, the rest is pine. Someone made a suggestion that it would be cool to make it into a clock,,I totally agree.

    Very nice! :thumb:
I agree--it would be nice as a clock too, and the denticles could be stained differently at hour increments.

60 hours... that's all ? I would have guessed more. I have much less to show for my most recent 60 hours.

Apparently one can accomplish more in 60 hours behind a scroll saw than behind a computer !!!! :D

I would buy one too...but I bet ya they would be pricey. He spent 60hrs plus the cost of wood and stain.,,,labour would be 600 bucks just for starters.Ya think 10 bucks an hr sounds right?

Very nice! A great gift, but especially for someone born in 1935... (that would not be me)

I would love to have one of those. It would work great as a clock. But like many, when it comes down to it I probably couln't afford one, if it comes to it. But anyway, that is absolutly beautiful.

The thing for him to do is to sell kits or plans.
