The Wyoming coin is just the state's motto. I think the simplicity makes it unique. The worst by far is Arizona. Way too much on the coin. Alaska is Awesome. Nevada is good also. So is North Dakota.

No ifs about it. There WILL be a Guam quarter in 2009. As for your design idea.........I think you should submit it. :)

i think the mint should come out with all those quarters in gold as a way of saying goodbye to the series finally in 2009

Well there are 5 territories, including DC that are classified as Unincorporated organized territories. Then there are ton more that are considered Unincorporated unorganized territories and they include American Samoa, Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Petrel Islands, Serranilla Bank, Midway Islands, Navassa Island, and, Wake Atoll

There have been a couple I really liked. My favorite has been Utah, but I also loved Oregon, Virginia, New Jersey, and Montana.

I really don't like New Mexico or Wyoming.

There is, they are: DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, US Virgin Islands, and Northern Mariana Islands.

Does ANYBODY have coin map with the territories included on it??????????? I doubt it, so imho the last 5 or 6 quarters will be for those collectors who want to have the complete sets only!! I do plan on getting all the sets!!

There are six coins for the three territories, two commonwealths, and the District of Columbia, which is considered a state in relation to presidential elections.

The designs for all but Puerto Rico have been made public. The governor of Puerto Rico has decided he didn't like the two finalists and there's a controversy over what to do about a possible third one.

As to Jarvis I. and the rest, they ain't getting squat.

why not include the philippines?. it was a commonwealth before. since this is a partial commemorative coin series. philippines should have included. even she is an independent nation right now.

2008 statehood quarters clad proof set is the winner. the lowest mintage of all statehood quarters proof set. the price went up together with the 2008 clad proof set.

American Samoa is getting a quarter this year......

Most of the others have no permanent populations and are little more then specs of land in the sea.
