Meow likes these too. They did get a bit pricy with the cost of silver up. Just one more to go, and the set will be done.

Meow just loves to CRH for W quarters on a regular basis. But they are not easy to find in Meows area. Recently in the past few months Meow acquired many rolls of 2020 quarters to come up empty every single time. Meow is thinking 2020 Ws may not have ever been distributed in Meow's area, as Meow has yet to find a single 2020 W. Meow has mostly AMP ones from 2019, as those seem to have been distributed widely where Meow is.

Yea i've had a lot of fun searching the coin rolls as well Meow, i've found some really nice quarters in circulation for my America the Beautiful set, sadly i only have a few of the big boys, i just don't make enough money to make a set of them. I found 2 American Samoa W's as well, both from the same roll i managed to buy at the grocery store.

I'm sorry they didn't release them in your area Meow, its a shame, the CRH has been a lot of fun, i had like 40 dollars at one point i was searching and then rolling back up and returning them to the local grocery store for different rolls, because they won't sell more then 1 roll at a time, "theres a coin shortage" is all you get from them. Meow must have some strong paws to handle all those 5ozers :D

They fit perfectly in 40mm grenade ammo cans. Also just for fun Meow is filling a 30mm ammo can will OBW quarter rolls for searching later in life after full retirement. It is half full so far as Meow only adds a half dozen or so rolls to it a week. It is half full, and Meow can no longer move it.

Well sounds like your planning ahead Meow, smart idea you'll probably end up finding some W's when they've jumped up to 500 bucks each, hopefully the mint will stop this so they can be unique.

Yes, Meow may find some random Ws years from now. Been CRH for over two years now, and has learned a lot here about what Meow finds.

I actually enjoy CRH pennies the most, taking all the older pure copper ones out of circulation and hoarding them, but the banks in my area haven't been very cooperative when it comes to change lately, and all the retailers i go to say they've had no issues getting change, government conspiracy to update the coinage i swear, the older washington quarters are getting harder and harder to find, especially nicers ones in circulation.

Meow does pennies too, but only a small amount a month. Meow keeps the copper ones too. If you have not noticed, Meow loves to hoard stuff.

    Vizzura,

Nice find! I like the silver one a lot!

I started CRH about 6 months ago and have fell in love with it. Here are some tips that have helped me out greatly that might be useful to you after reading your thread.

To truly coin roll hunt, you need to do it in volume, which requires funds. You need to save up at least a couple K and keep recycling it. Your stimulus checks maybe?

From there you need to diversify your banking and open a couple different accounts to give you more options. There you will go in and develop relationships with the tellers, see if you can identify the individual who makes the orders and focus on that relationship the most. I actually take a business card so I can email them an order of a box or two every couple of weeks. The email works great because you don’t have to go in and bother them about coin orders during busy banking times. I do this at multiple banks, multiple locations as well. To help with the recycling, some tellers even like for you to bring back your old boxes to exchange, so they will not be low for their business clients. This helps you out also. Do not leave these boxes short or stuff the rolls with worthless foreign coin. That can quickly ruin a good thing if they find out. Hope this helps!

Must be behind the times...I didn't know any W qrts had been business struck and released to circulation other than in the special-order mint rolls/bags, which I figured most people kept/kept in tact. Like cars in the 50s-60s, I knew and could recognize every model made and everything about them...but not anymore in such a diversified industry. Same with coins, coin info, etc. (plus age...just can't keep up:). Bring back the Lincoln Memorial on the penny and in 2032, the traditional Washington qrtr obv AND rev...!

One of the best reverses IMO too.

No such thing as a W here in Idaho yet. When we least expect them we will get the end of the litter, if you know what I mean. Nice find.

Yea i enjoy the reverse, hence buying the 5 oz one, i didn't know about the West point quarters until late into 2019, so i got started a little later and have only found 6, some duplicates i found i gave to a friend and then she started finding them. I wish i had 1k to dump into quarters, i don't think the local banks here would even let me get that many.

They weren't available special order in bags. When each design comes out they are randomly mixed in with regular issue quarters. They were sent to all of the reserve banks, so I don't buy the thinking that they weren't released in certain areas.
