Hi All, Here is a 1883 seated dime that I am going to be selling. I need a value, I am tryign to get better at the pictures to try and show the toning, Struggling but this coin is neat. Let me knwo wha toyu think. Thanks all, Dan
Nobody can say much about that coin without better photos. That extreme angle does show the color pretty well, I gotta say - but it shows little else. Looks like nice color, BTW.
Thank you,. I am tryign to get better photos, If you can't tell I am a lousy photographer. Thanks and I am workin on getting better ones.
It's hard to grade from the photos (and the last photos are MUCH better than the first, high angle photos) but the coin has obvious wear. Grey Sheet is VF = $15 and XF = $23.
Because the images are dark it's hard to tell the grade but I agree with hobo. It does look to be VF (Very Fine) to XF (Extremely Fine). Retail value for VF is $25 & XF is $35. So a dealer may pay $18 - $28 for it.
