Can anyone tell me how much this $100 bill is worth? I have never seen a star like this printed on a bill before...

The star on this note was not put there by the BEP. It is probably a stamp placed on it by a merchant signifying that it is authentic similar to the "chop marks" found on Trade Dollars.

It adds nothing to the value of the note.

wouldnt it detract from any percieved value down the road? For the most part, if it is like you say, it would be post mint damage, yes?

that stamp was definetely added by someone. i would agree it could detract from a premium. its worth $100. we get stuff at work everyday with diffrent stamps and imprints. i had a $100 today that someone stamped "BLOOD MONEY" on it:rolling:

Yep, definitely added after the note was printed. Sorry.
