I just noticed something on this picture. The large S has trumpet serif's at both ends of the S. The small S has a ball serif at the top of the S and a trumpet at the bottom. The image on LCR shows both large and small with trumpet serifs on both ends! All of my 28-S's have trumpets on both ends too. Is there another variety with a ball serif?
The 2 in post #24 and the top one in post #30 look more like a Large S than the others...check them out in person and see what you think. Speedy
I think this is what you are looking for, Thad. And just to mess up your stats, that makes 2 out of teh last 4 28-S's I have as the large "S" variety.
