I'm working on it Randy. I currently have 8 more to go through that are at least 4 years or older. I have one more from last year and another that I just bought last night. No telling what I'll find. Lol

 

I love $5 Indians. This is my favorite US coin design. Period. One day I will own one.

 

I know they're higher now but my invoice has this at just a hair under $300. Makes me wish I would have bought more. I put together a complete $2.50 Gold Indian set instead so I'm happy with that. The only one I don't have is the 1911 weak D. I bought the more expensive and harder to find strong D instead.

 

JM has them for $636. Melt is $448. Too rich for my blood

Nice I working on a set of $2.50s but so far only 2 examples 1909 indian and an 1878 liberty head.... long way to go before I'm done hehe

 

Have you thought about focusing on the $2.50 Indians? Only one of them is a price killer but it can be completed in a reasonable time frame.

 

yeah thinking about it but I wanted the liberty heads as well which more then doubles the set... so for now it will be what i can afford/what comes to me at a resonable price.

 

I built a full set of the Indians and enjoyed doing so. It's a fairly short set but interesting and I was able to complete it.
