Remember when these "rare" v75 privy mark silver medals were going for $500 and up upon release? I do - and, I remember telling my impatient, impulsive, obsessive WWII-collecting self the following...over & over:

    1) You don't have to get this RIGHT now.
    2) You CAN wait - everyone on the forum is saying that these WILL go down in volume once the hype dies down.
    3) Once the vulture dealers & fortune hunters realize that the buzz was temporary, prices will drop dramatically.
    4) Then, and only then, can you click "But It Now".
    5) Repeat #1 - #4 for the WWII v75 ASE & Gold coins, also.

Just got this beauty (graded) for my collection for a little over the original Mint purchase price. :)

p.s. I could've obtained a raw coin (ungraded/unlabeled) for even cheaper, but I have all of the other 2020 WWII v75 privy mark NGC VDAY label quarters, and wanted a complete set.

    Cheers.

Were they going for that much, $500 ? I think the gold coins were like 3x purchase price or $7,500 right ?

I think you got lucky, too....I see active bidding past $120 right now and I would suspect that others below that will catch up before their time expires.

It does appear that BIN's for PF69's for about $150-$160 can be had so that is probably the upper limit. I guess that's alot cheaper than the initial bidding frenzy for the Silver version but still a big premium over the govt purchase price.

I see that the V75 ASEs are still in the $500 range.

    I saw some BINs for ~ $175 that I think are PF69's.

Prices may just be all over the place.

V75 ASEs are in $1200 range right now at APMEX. Of course PR70 FS blah blah blah.

That's insane but not unexpected for the folks who "have" to have the PF70.

Yeah - I remember them ranging from $425 - $600 - highest I saw was $700 on eBay during release week as pre-sales. Unbelievable.

I saw them going for $15k+ - here are two (2) active eBay auctions for the PF70 Ultra cams - why on God's green earth would you overpay so much? I seriously don't understand it. The one auction says he has sold 25 of them. How on earth did one dealer get 25 out of the 7,500 minted?

Yes; I only went after these for the red WWII v75 label - didn't care about the PF70 grade or First Release or Early Strikes or any of that b**l s**t. - like there is a huge difference between 68, 69 or 70 on a proof? The coin is silver, it is graded, and it had the v75 privy & label to match the rest of my collection.

Eh, I got mine for whatever the mint price was. Not looking to sell it or anything so I'm happy. I couldn't imagine buying on the secondary market.
