Please post your coins.... Mine is/// AV 4 Dukata 1931-K Kovinca Mint Alexander I/ Maria of Romania 1918-34 Countermark "Ear of Corn" Serbia Kingdom of Yugoslavia 40mm. 13.96g. .986
One coin that I particularily like from the 20th century is the french "100 francs Cochet" 4° république (1946-1958) - 100 francs Cochet 1954 Ref : Le Franc 10 # 450/2 Q
Yours is definately undergraded! I have a MS-64 Canada 1912 $10/ its full of bagmarks/ your coin should be at least 64. Mine came from Rauch, its perfect/ no marks/ looks way better in hand., they graded it stempelglanz=MS64 or better. This coin/ the Austro-Hungarian AV 4 Dukaten Franz Josef/ Saint Gauden Double Eagle/ Albania 100 Frangga PROVAS/ Bulgaria AV 4 Dukaten Ferdinand I are all extremely nice designs. John
I like the US-Philippine Peso design and the Mexican Caballito. I only own one of the two. I'm still searching for the ideal Caballito.
From a extinct Country/ They fought for independence in late 60s. No one (UN) came to their aid, as Nigeria starved them into submission. same happened later in Rwanda AV 25 Pounds 1969 Valcambi Mint 95g. 60mm. .916 Republic of Biafra
I have been admiring the herald/crest on the obverse of the 1937 Bulgarian coin I just sorted (a 50 Stotinki ?). The reverse wheat stalks seem to go into a bit more detail than our wheat on the reverse of our old coppers. My example would only go VF or XF at the most. The rim & edge worn smooth (Probably toted around in some soldier's pocket during WW2).
My favorite design is the greek military junta 100 drachma. I really like the symbolism of the phoenix rising from the ashes helped by a soldier lol.
However the Hungarian 1907 5 kroner commemorating the coronation of Franz Josef gives the Greek one some competition
