Ok, recently I bought a nice set of coins from auctions, and some dealers around my area. I posted alot of these up at one time, but I figure we can test our knowledge on different coin types.

I sent in about 10 coins of all types from Draped Bust Dollar's to Capped Dimes to Proof Indians and even DDO's. Here is the list of what I sent off yesterday to PCGS. I sent them on a 5 day turn around also so we all should know soon.

Here's the list of what i sent in and my guess at given grade,

    1799 $1 - Draped Bust, Herald - :confused:F-12 - F-15
    1885-CC $1 - Morgan Dollar, - :confused:MS-64-DMPL
    1834 10C - Capped Bust Dime, - :confused:EF-40
    1863 1c - Indian Head Cent - :confused:MS-63
    1888 1c - Indian Head Cent - :confused:PF-64 RB
    1892 1c - Indian Head Cent - :confused:PF-64 RB
    1902 1c - Indian Head Cent - :confused:MS-64 RD
    1908 1c - Indian Head Cent - :confused:PF-67 RB/RD
    1972/72 1c - DDO Indian Head Cent - :confused:MS-64 RB
    1972/72 1c - DDO Indian Head Cent - :confused:MS-65 RD

    = My Guess

Now here's the only pics I have, tell me what you think the grade will be given to the coins I provided a picture for. Thanks guys...

Depending on ho wlong ago you sent them in, you may be a bit optomistic on that time frame. But anyway -
1799 dollar - probably in a Genuine holder, marked damaged - VF details I'd say

    1885-CC - MS63

    1972 cent - MS64 for both

    1908 cent - MS65

That Morgan is really nice! I'd go MS-65 DMPL on it. Nice pics too!

We've seen that exact same 1799 S$1 before. There's something funky in the obverse fields behind Liberty's head and in front of her face.

Im afraid it will be bodybagged, but i hope for at least F-15

Unfortunately, I think the only two coins to slab in graded holders are the Morgan and the IHC, both at 65 (MS PL and PR respectively) -- perhaps a 64 PL on the Morgan.

As an aside, I think you are in for a rude awakening by spending all this money without the requisite numismatic skills. Please excuse that comment if I have misinterpreted your experience level, but I see you about to learn a very expensive lesson, and for the record I hope I'm 100% wrong....Mike

I agree with Mike. I also hope this is incorrect, but my experience tells me otherwise.

I hope its just bad pictures and they come back decent, but i will not be mad if they dont, the dealer that sold me the 72 DDO RED and the 1799 said if they come back body bagged he would give me my money back so i not to worried.

But i ould love to see them all come back slabbed and graded + i pray
