Old Coin

I found this old coin dated from 1975 in my house and i was wondering what it was. It's worn and the words are in another language, possibly latin. Here are links to images.

The guy on the front is the Roman Emperor Diocletian. That's all I can tell you.

Maybe someone can make sense of the reverse legend.

 

And becareful calling a 1975 coin an old coin. Some of us are very old.

 

Sorry for calling it old. Does anyone know what language this is, maybe a translation could help. the back say 1(Unknown Symbol) cal. What form of currency could this be?

 

It's a token for an event that took place in 1979. Is that WMA? Could be World Medical Association??? I do see that one was listed on ebay uk but the listing has been removed.

Me neither. I got a bunch of maybe's with the ITAM but squat with the reverse legend. Hmmm?

This is actually very strange, I brought it to a collector and he said he had never seen anything like it.
