    Notice how it looks very flat and shelf-like. Also notice how the letters that are the highest relief are thinner/smaller than a normal letter. Those are classic characteristics for mechanical doubling

    It's a ball, high and outside. The dies didn't exactly cut the middle of the plate with their fast one.

    Pictures are blurry, foggy, and out of focus. With that being said, in my opinion, PMD. Better luck next time.

    if your not familiar with how MD (Mechanical Doubling) occurs then do some research on it. its pretty interesting. your quarter shows it very well. good luck
