A buddy of mine is bringing me $5 in various year wheat pennies his granddad collected over the years today. I'm so stoked to look through them all! Anybody else get excited over wheat pennies?

I ALWAYS get excited to look through a new group of coins...except when it's for a business/boss, because then I feel like if I don't find anything exceptional/valuable, they will assume I just kept it and didn't tell them. Just my anxiety fun.

Hopefully you find something fun! Good luck!

I always get excited about looking through coins. Even rolls from the bank that someone else rolled. You never know what they might have missed!!!

I had a boss that retired and moved to Florida, And when he left he gave me all the old coins he found in the register over the years, I was always asking to look threw the drawer, we became quite good friend's with coin hunting in common!!!

I think most of us here would be a bit excited to go through a pile of unsearched coins to see what is there. I know I would be.

Is there really such a thing as "Unsearched Coins ?" ( But I agree with the above )

    No, not at all.

It was just that I was tempted to make a really sarcastic comment about a certain member that shall remain "unnamed" - and I bit my tongue to keep from saying it :D
