New (American) coins or old (American) coins?

Some I collect, some I accumulate, some I spend.

 

I spend "new" American coins to buy "old" ones.

My son got me this set for Christmas. He ordered it from the mint the first week of December and it finally got here Wednesday. I personally wouldn't have gotten it but as a gift it is OK:

Most years I make about $50... Just birthdays, holidays, and whatnot

 

I have collected it all, but I prefer the older American coins, especially from 1792 to 1807.

 

I wouldn't part with some of my old coins for anything but you got to love this

 

The last I heard, you won't have a job until next summer, but your first priority was to save up for an apartment and a car.

Why would I be panhandling? I'm literally about to go out and buy some coins... There is no reason to... I was saying its nice and would be cool to have... CPM just because I talk about the fact I have little money and it would be cool to have some coins doesn't mean I'm begging... In fact I collect about 100 coins a year... Just let a kid dream

yeah had to get one myself... gotta love that reverse proof but I waited for the "W"
